Michael's Crazy Place Names
I've been on the radio for ages, and when I was on community radio back in the day, I got a friend to record this feature for me called Michael's Crazy Place Names. It was funny then, but is it funny now?... YOU DECIDE.

...this worries me! This is a news broadcast from about 20 minutes ago on Australia's equivalent to Radio 1, Triple J.
He was trying to sell me a phone contract, asked what phone I wanted, and I said an iPhone... This is what he said in response...
I'm sure there is a slander/liable case in this, because he did say to be that the iPhone had "battery problems".
Right, so Anthony Gormley has gone and done another art thing. He used to do status of people, he designed the angel of the north, and god knows, he's a bit of a genius. I went to see his exhibition last year at the Hayward Gallery, and loved it...
This time, he's gone a bit crazy. You know at Trafalgar Square, they have those lions? and nelson's column? They also have four plinths with army generals stand. But now, since one of them has been vacated, it's a chance for modern art pieces to go there, and this is where that crazy, wacky Anthony Gormley comes to play.. He's come up with this concept, of the art being a live snapshot of Great Britain... How do you do this? Well, you put someone, a living person up there, for an hour. Every hour of the day there is a new person, wether at lunchtime, when the big game is on or even 4am. 2400 people, for 2400 hours. The last guy that was on was dressed as a Tuna, protesting about people eating fish or something, I wasn't really paying attention to what he had to say... The woman on there now however, looks so bored. SHES DOING NOTHING.
....dancehall style.
...is this really necessary? I'l tell you what it is... Scary!
...bit foggy?!
